Retired my ducky one TKL for wooting one

This has been a great keyboard, it is reliable, fast and has great support with consistent updates to the software/firmware. Wooting listens to their customers and is introducing new features & improvements with almost every update! Try getting that with your chinese keyboard... or corsair for that matter, cant tell you how many defective corsair KB's I have retired, never again!

Came in detective and had smudges

Straight out the box, I had already noticed some smudges. Just by looking at the smudges, I had strongly believed that there was something unusual with this keyboard. Afterward, hooked it up to my computer and visually, the keyboard looks amazing. Downloaded their wootility program to use the cool special effects but unfortunately nothing changed. Asked for support through the discord server and turns out that the keyboard is missing files so the wootility program is unable to recognize the keyboard.

tl;dr Paid $140 for a defective keyboard. I even paid an extra $10 for expedited shipping for it to come at a standard shipping ETA without given a TTC.

2 stars just because the keyboard works lol.

Thank you for addressing this issue, please make sure to contact support if you haven't. In the USA everything is shipped by a 3rd party fulfillment centre and we are not able to inspect every keyboard or shipment. We recently decided to switch to an other fulfillment centre to address these type of issues.
Beats any other keyboard for typing and for gaming - even without considering analog input

I own a non-RGB Pok3r and spent more on it than I did on my Wooting One. There is absolutely no reason to buy any other mechanical keyboard than a Wooting: the Wooting feels great to type on, looks amazing, costs as much or less than other mechanical keyboards, and that's not even considering the analog input.

The ability to steer cars in games properly on PC is night and day different from a regular keyboard. The Wootlity is well designed and fun to play around in. The analog input even lets you use novel RGB effects that respond to how far in you press each key, if RGB effects are your thing.

You wouldn't steer a car in real life by ramming the wheel all the way to the right or left for every turn, would you? no, probably not even for any turn. Why settle for less in a game when a Wooting costs as much or less than a different keyboard in the same class?

I never use my other keyboards anymore. I took my Pok3r to work so it at least gets some use.

I recommend the black switches so that inputting specific depths on each key is easier. If you can't get the black switches don't worry. I bought my Wooting before they had the black switch option and I manually changed out the springs in each key for heavier springs - something the Wooting team has videos explaining how to do, and something that as far as I know is impossible on literally any other mechanical keyboard. springs cost around 10 USD with shipping.

for me the Best mec. Keyboard on Market

Love the board and the Wooting team. I replaced my WSAD keys with Tai Hao rubberized keycaps and it’s been amazing. Using mostly for Overwatch with digital profile but have gotten some run in on Street Fighter V with an analog profile
